The Challenge
57 days of descent
Between 2nd January and 2nd March 2027, I’ll be skiing 570,000 vertical metres over 57 consecutive days in the Chamonix Valley.
That’s the height of Mount Everest. Every single day. For nearly two months.
I’m not a professional athlete. I’m just a guy from town. But I’m funding every penny of this trip myself — flights, accommodation, lift passes, all of it — so that 100% of every donation goes directly to Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

For our loved ones
Memories & promises
In December 2025, my step-mum Sue was supported by Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
I watched the staff there do something incredible: they gave dignity when the body was failing. They gave comfort when pain was constant. They gave our family the space to just be a family, to say goodbye without falling apart.
They didn’t just manage the end — they protected what remained of life.
This challenge is for Sue, and for every family who needs that same care, love and protection during their hardest moments.
A promise
“I will finish this. Not because I’m strong, but because she was. And because the next family walking through Lindsey Lodge’s doors deserves the same care she received.”
